IBIS and Nikon (telephoto) adapted lenses on Fuji X-S10

Anyone shooting long telephoto Nikon lenses (adapted) on a Fuji X-S10?  My specific question has to do with invoking IBIS at shutter speeds common for shooting birds or sports action.  I am curious about the performance (if even appropriate) of IBIS at shutter speeds in excess of 1/1250 to 1/2500?  I shoot manually with DSLR's (D7200, D300, D500, D800, Df, etc.), but doing so with the Fuji seems near impossible - to get a sharp image.

Is the IBIS only valid at shutter speeds below (i.e. 1/400)?  Can IBIS be positively utilized at higher shutter speeds (either handheld or on a monopod)?

I may return the X-S10 based on experiences expressed in response - I can live with the low percentage with my X-T3 and no IBIS if IBIS is essentially useless for my purposes.

Thanks for any input!
