I also just find it much more interesting to watch so I tend to shoot everything @120 and slow the interesting parts down 5x to 24fps.

I have the exact same set up as you and I'm also filming everything @120 4k with the A7SIII. It makes the most sense really. I've been doing more research and talking to others with experience with fluid heads and they're telling me that I really don't need a 100mm bowl and I should stick with a 75mm bowl and just get a fluid head with lots of flexibility when it comes to drag.

It will probably be a few weeks before I'm able to get another fluid head to try and by then most birds along the MS River here in the Upper Midwest will probably be gone due to the impending freeze-up of the river.
