I hear you.  True.  If I had an XT-4 with IBIS I would not shoot a monopod out walking around shooting unless I had the 100-400 on, or was shooting a deliberate landscape based out of the car (scenic overlooks) in and I had no tripod.

But with GFX, and especially with the non-IBIS GFX 50s/r, monopods are the norm because we obsess over diffraction, DOF, camera shake, or anything that can rob one pixel oi that amazing (and expensive) resolution and image fidelity.
