Advice sought: My Sony a700 died :(

Hi all,

My Sony a700 with well over 500,000 clicks is on its death bed.

I used it over the weekend to shoot some instant portraits (12 megapixels is perfect for this) and when I replaced my freshly charged batteries and turned the camera on the autofocus with the attached 16-80 Zeiss just whirred as if the lens motor was damaged. I switched to an SSM lens and all was well.

I remember back in the day the same thing happened with my a900 and it turned out to be a fuse in the camera. My question is, does anyone know the part number? As much as this camera is a sentimental favourite that launched my photography career, I am not going to spend and great sum of money to have it fixed.

Thanks in advance
