I work for Kenmore Camera and while we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, we rarely do. Typically it’s only if there is damage to the product or packaging or something is missing. It’s not even always the full 15% when there is a problem. For defects or problems, we pay for return shipping but if it’s just because the customer changed their mind, then they must cover it. We can send warranty claims to the manufacturer at our expense, but they would need to be sent to us first which can sometimes slow the whole process down.
