I started with a 35mm F1.8G but id like something faster that i can shoot wide open. The F1.8G seems pretty sharp wide open, but it has the worst purple / green fringing i have seen on a lens. thinking about switching to a sigma 35mm F1.4 art and then i can use an adapter to share with my fuji Xh1 too. Just not sure i want to spend $600 on a lens for a $100 camera. Plus its big, heavy, full frame and both my camera bodies are aspc.

I want to do "moody" indoor natural light portraits at iso 100. I really want to try the mitakon F0.95 35mm but sadly they dont make it for F mount.

I had one of the earlier Nikon 50mm f1.4, I think the 50mm f1.4D.  I don't recall any purple fringing.  You can probably find an old Sigma 30mm f1.4 for FD mount.  Nice lens though I did not find it to blur the backgrounds that much.
