My tripod is normally in my car at all times just in case I need it but I took it out when the car was serviced and forgot to put it back in. Went to a waterfall location on a perfect weather day for it, foggy, cloudy, even shadows but when I got there, no tripod.

Oh well, too good an opportunity to miss so I tried to get the milky waterfall effect using as long a shutter speed as I could without inducing shake and it seems that 1/5 sec was fairly consistently achievable. Absolutely no bracing, free standing.
