In faststone image viewer my xt2 lossless compressed files read only 2.46 MP.

But if I export them from c1 to cs6 they read in 'image size' as 4000 pixels by 6000 pixels which is 24mp.

Me not understand ;P

In Faststone, go into the setting menu. In the "RAW" tab, change setting from "Embedded Preview Image (Fastest)" to "Actual Size (Slow)" and you will see the full raw file instead of the JPEG.

Yourself and the above poster have provided me with the answer, thanks so much.

I also learned after some research that the lossless compressed really is lossless due to compression algorithms making the files smaller not loss of data.  I won't go into that as it is another topic but very happy to know all of this

Thanks
