Re: Mac Mini upgrade on a budget

You have said that your budget is $600-1000.  Don’t even bother looking for used.  The new Apple M1 chip is the future for Apple and the new M1 Mac Minis are way faster than anything you can buy used for the money.  An M1 Mini with a 256 gb solid state drive and 16GB of RAM will cost you $899.  For another $200 you can double the size of the drive.  I have a 2015 Mac Book Pro that I was going to upgrade to an iMac this month, and the M1 chip introduction has me debating whether to get one of the new Minis or waiting for the M series iMacs.  I’ve been a Mac user since the original 128k Mac, and I can’t remember such a big jump in performance in a new machine.
