Vibration effects on camera and lens

I like mountain biking. I also like photography. When I'm riding my bike, I frequently stop to take pictures with my smartphone. However, I'd prefer carrying a camera with me.

I have an "old" GF1 body that I'm thinking about pairing with my Oly 14-42 MK1 lens and carrying it on my camelbak during rides. As you can see, I'm thinking about using older and cheap parts just in case I fall and something breaks.

However, there's something I can't avoid: I usually ride over rock gardens and bumpy trails at a decent speed, and that involves a fair amount of shaking. I suppose that having the camera on the backpack instead of on a frame bag will help as my body will absorb part of the shaking, but, considering that sometimes it's painful to my hands, I'm sure part of it will get to the camera.

Is this likely to break something? Or is it going to hold up well?
