I'm building a new PC for photo work - Photoshop, Lightroom and Topaz. Besides photo, the PC will be used a normal home computer. NO GAMING AT ALL !

Ryzen 5 3600X, 32GB RAM, 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD - 2 1920x1200 24" Dell monitors.

For graphics, I hesitate between a GTX 1660 Ti and a GTX 1050 Ti. In Canada, the 1600 costs twice as much as the 1050.

Which graphics card would you choose ?

Maybe listing your camera's MP value and the resolution of your monitor might help folks to comment.

In case it may help, my FZ1000 camera is rated at 20 MP and the resolution of my monitor is 2560x1440. I just use the graphics controller that's built into my MSI motherboard and have not experienced any slow downs or delays while editing photos (jpg or raw) in Photoshop or Lightroom, or editing 1920x1080 videos in Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12. For what I do, the motherboard onboard graphics have not exhibited any limitations at all. Also in case it helps, my CPU is a lowly sixth generation Intel i7-6700.

My camera is an Oly E-M1 Mk III 20mp.   My computer is a 7 years old 16GB i7-3770k and I am due for a refresh.  Some components are still good, case, PS, monitors.  I decided I will get the 1660 Ti because it greatly improves Topaz processing speed.
