I am always wondering, since the jpg process can be finished at light speed in camera, why can't they do it on computer ? Or their magic DIGIC processor and OS is better than latest CPU + GPU with Windows 10 or MAC 10?

It's a subset of the maxim horses for courses. A PC or MAC is a general purpose computer, whereas the processors (DSP chips) used in cameras are custom designed to do a specific job; the software is optimised for doing lens distortion corrections, sharpening and other tasks without any real time input from the user.

If what you said is true (no offense), why don't canon make and sell a box as an external accelerateor to a computer with its hardware and software inherent DNA from it's camera? That would be a good business.

As to that, sir, you will have to ask Canon themselves!

A better request might be for a means of connecting by USB cable and letting DPP do its work using the specialized computing hardware within the camera.
