My 10-year old Dell XPS
1

Still running Win 7.  I would still keep it if it were not for the constant crashes, blue screen.  From time to time I get the msg to check a driver.

In the recent past I have run Chkdsk etc.  Then it runs nicely for a number of months.  Recently it started to freeze again, mouse doesn't move, keyboard doesn't work.  It would even crash duirng Chkdsk.

New Dell XPS is arriving soon with Win 10.  I suppose when the new PC comes, I can hook up the old HDD from the old sytem to the new PC and then do a Chkdsk?

I have backed up data to external HDD.
