The new Deep Prime in DXOLab 4... Fantastic! Like magic!

Thanks. Do you use DXOLab4 as part of an LR/PS workflow or exclusively?

Hi there, just to mention that you can use DxO PL4 pretty well in conjunction with LR. When I see an image that needs aggressive NR in LR there is an option to "send to DxO PL4" which will open the image in PL. From there you can export as a DNG with only optical corrections and NR applied. Back in Lr you can still apply a profile and adjust white balance. This works well. If you have already edited an image, for instance, you can do a round trip to DxO to benefit from the Deep Prime and when you are back copy/paste the same edits to the DNG as you had previously applied to the raw file. The results will be very similar (though perhaps not quite 100% identical) in terms of colours and tones.

I almost do this but start off in DxO PL4 for noise and lens corrections then export as DNG to ACR before opening as a smart object in Photoshop. It may sound crazy but for some reason I could never get on with Lightroom but love ACR, maybe because I never liked Lightroom's DAM.
