Unlike the EF 50/1.2L, the 85mm f/1.2LII has no CA issues.

But then you say...

The 85/1.2LII does have some pronounced LoCA at large apertures (just as the 85/1.4L and 50/1.2L). The RF 85/1.2 has improved on that a lot, with the Blue Spectrum Refractive optics. It's in the 35/1.4L II as well and and it's brilliant.

The excessive purple and green fringing is why I sold my 85mm f1.2 II.

Yes, I wrote that because there is a difference between CA (lateral) and LoCA (longitudinal) what is also called bokeh fringing

The EF 50L suffers from both Lateral Chromatic Aberrations and Longitudinal Chromatic Aberrations. The EF 85Ls suffer from only LoCAs.
The RF versions have the BR optics that correct the LoCA very effectively.
