Just starting to use studio lights....

Recently did one of my first indoor sessions doing portraits using 2 500W softboxes (one per side) and an umbrella light facing the model but slightly off center. Studio had an extremely high ceiling 20ft+. This setup was giving me an exposure ISO 500 1/80 f5 spot metered on the model which gave me a bit too much noise and motion blur to be acceptable. In order to get a bit more light would it be possible to use a speedlight on the camera with a softbox attached to it in place of the umbrella light? Could I have changed my setup to be brighter? C&C on my setup in the image, please!!
