Am I the only one "put out" about no GPS in R5 or R6?

Iin regards to gps and switching to another brand  I’m not sure that will fix things  I’m with Sony and with no built in gps either (coming from a  5dm4). I got reminded of that today when I went shooting at the zoo and forgot to turn it on  as a matter of fact the last few times I shot out around the neighborhood I didn’t turn it on my phone (as expected that I would forget) and now I don’t have those coordinates In light room. one nice thing about the gps is if I wanted to see the shots I took around the “neighborhood” I could easily find them with Lightroom. Now it’s another step I have to take to tag each one as I import  so Yes I’m botching about a feature that got taken away.

I find it odd too and a huge draw back compared to 5d IV for landscape photographers.

5D IV had a GPS which I really liked. It just reduced my time at the computer to get the pictures tagged.

I will not switch to mirror less because of R5, especially with that price tag! If I have to invest in new lenses, I can switch to another brand as well. Canon made that decision a bit easier now. Also with the constant draw backs like the black dot with bright lights in 5D, over heating in video and the almost no feature SW Updates compared to competitors.
