I still have the problem that Bluetooth and GPS gets disconnected, if my Android phone is "off" (not totally down, just switched off) for a couple of minutes. This is totally annoying, because I have to turn the phone on again, go into the app and reconnect it.

Maybe it´s also that the camera is witched off, but I don´t think so, because I have tested that. And, anyway, I just HAVE to switch the camera off, because I don´t want it to stay on, when I´m walking. It would run the IBIS all the time. So can someone share a screenshot of where I can make a setting in the Android phone to keep the connection?

What an idiotic decision of Canon to have no integrated GPS, just to save ...how much....5 dollars of production cost....in a 4500€ camera!

It was so easy in my 7D MK2 and also showed the direction of shooting.

I do miss the missing direction of shooting data in the new MLC bluetooth connected cameras as well.   Direction can have value and data is valuable.    I would be happy if a new better attachment for GPS like the old one if it is reliable and put direction and position in the camera EXIF files in a trouble free fashion.  It will be interesting to see if the new 7D in mirrorless, the R7, has GPS with directional data.
