X-T3 focus problem with 16mm after use of Viltrox EF-FX1
X-T3 focus problem with 16mm after use of Viltrox EF-FX1
2 months ago
I just had a walk with my XF 16mm F1.4 and noticed it could not autofocus. It gives a red box with anything. This is after I used the X-T3 with a Viltrox EF-FX1 adapter with unsupported lenses, which also did not focus at all after I tried firmware v .28 and .29.
Back at home, and did a camera reset, it still does not focus EXCEPT in Face Detection mode ON - which behaves as the normal focus not looking for faces. I hope I can resolve this next by reloading the firmware. Did anyone experience anything like this before?
Update: re-flashing the firmware 4.00 did not solve the issue. It only autofocuses in Face Detection mode.
