Am I the only one "put out" about no GPS in R5 or R6?

I find it odd too and a huge draw back compared to 5d IV for landscape photographers.

5D IV had a GPS which I really liked. It just reduced my time at the computer to get the pictures tagged.

I will not switch to mirror less because of R5, especially with that price tag! If I have to invest in new lenses, I can switch to another brand as well. Canon made that decision a bit easier now. Also with the constant draw backs like the black dot with bright lights in 5D, over heating in video and the almost no feature SW Updates compared to competitors.

I appreciate the GPS in my 5DIV although I did use it so very much.  My 7DII has one too.   Even though I have the bought the EOS R and R5 I will keep these two classic DSLRs for backup.  I have huge knowledge base in the work I have done with them and that knowledge is worth a lot.   Optical viewfinders and GPS like they have are useful for me at times.  I will use my EF lens collection on both cameras with a few new RF lenses where they are really offering me a strong advantage.
