Capture One, Affinity Photo, Topaz DeNoise - NVME vs. SATA SSD?

I am building a new system, dedicated to photo editing, based on an Intel i7-9700 processor with 32GB DDR4. My current system is an Intel i7-4790 with 32GB DDR3.

I was planning to reuse my existing Samsung 860 EVO SSDs: 500GB for the OS/programs and 2TB for photo storage. The new motherboard has a couple of NVME sockets and I am wondering if installing a new 1TB NVME SSD (SK hynix Gold P31), instead of reusing the SATA-based SSDs, would provide a substantive performance increase. My main photo-related programs are Capture One, Affinity Photo, and Topaz DeNoise.
