Flush mount album - papers, glue, choices

After long and painstaking search for a photoalbum producer, I have some candidates.

My question - why are so many photobook producers using Fuji CA DPII papers for flush mount albums instead of the special CA Album HD (or HDX with extra coating) paper?

From what I know, CA Album is designed for creating photobooks so the process is easy and photo-safe.

To use DPII (the Silk version is most popular) the production needs to hot-glue the pages together, which I imagine can't be good for chromogenic prints, which have dyes that are prone to even room temperature-induced fading as is.

Any opinions? I'd rather choose the designated paper, but clients prefer Silk paper (very fingerprint resistant and looks "luxurious").
