I'm using Keith Cooper's rule of thumb to avoid settings with 5760. So I use level 3 for photo papers, level 4 for matte papers, and level 4 for fine are papers. I listed all of the settings in my posting a week ago.

That's a good rule of thumb as Keith has mentioned that there really isn't an appreciable difference between 1440 & 5760 on the P900.

Also, I've found that depending which media & profile one uses, the five standards are not always available in the options slider. And it also depends on, for example, whether you enter A4 or A4 thick, different standards show up.. Usually, sticking with the A4 example, if I input A4 I get more options on the slider, but if I put A4 thick for the front feeder there will be less options available to me (the others are greyed out). So I may have, effectively, only 2 or 3 options instead of all 5 depending on the paper of course.
