Cataract surgeries and screen brightness
2

I had cataract surgeries four months ago and normal computer brightness for photo editing seems way to bright now for common things like surfing the web and forums.   Any suggestions other than using the Night Light?  I'm using the night light at about 50% strength now for everything except photo editing and that does help.  The only problem is that I have started editing a photo a few times and forget to turn it off of course.
I finally got some computer glasses for the photo editing and they are nice.  Apparently my eyes have changed since getting the new prescription 3 months ago however, and I am in the process of getting both pair of glasses redone.  Has that happened to anyone else so soon after the cataract surgeries?  I thought eyes were really stable after cataract surgeries.   Thanks for any input.

The first digital image was made in the late '60's for NASA, as a way to record images of Mars. Each "square" was represented by three numbers, corresponding to the red, green, and blue hue on a scale of 0 to 255. This eliminated the need to ship film back to Earth.
