Agree. IMO for market segmentation, X-E4 will has same spec (but expensive than) with X-T30. EVF spec will same with X-T30 too. The only difference is RF body + film simulations + af algorithm. No IBIS.

Better stay with grey market's X-T30.

You are making a compelling case of why an x-e4 without ibis would be pointless, given that the x-ex line was close to cancellation twice, I am wondering why Fuji would release a camera that is less fully featured that the x-s10 and without a compelling feature to hold its own against the A6400 and A6600. Anyhow, we'll see what they have up their sleeve in good time

If Fujiflm put X100V's shutter dial on X-E4 (without IBIS and WR), may be more consumer may buy it. Otherwise, better stay with grey market:s X-T30.

As I understand it, a leaf shutter is feasible in the X100V because it's a fixed lens camera, Fuji X lenses are built around a focal plane shutter, therefore I don't see this ask making the cut in any Fuji X ILC anytime soon.

I means : If Fujiflm put X100V's shutter/ISO dial on X-E4....

Just a dial.

Lower possible that Fuji put leaf shutter in ILC.

An X-t30 in rangefinder livery with an X100V shutter/ISO dial is an interesting but not compelling market proposition, the market has moved on.

Agree that other camera maker already moved on. But, I found that Fujiflm still stick to (less innovation) market segmentation for pricey premium camera.

Examples: dual card slot & WR is simple tech and low cost, but never apply to mid-range Fujiflm camera.

IMO dual card slot more important than HDMI slot in camera. If space issue, replace HDMI with dual card slot.

For WR (not IP rating and without any guarantee) in camera body (which has few dials), it just few simple rubber sealing. I still remember OnePlus 6 (phone) provide water-resistant in low price (because not IP67).
