Poor design of new Oly tele-zoom
2

I bought into the m43 system in order to use very compact, well-built gear, and I have indeed found my several Oly Pen and Panasonic GM cameras immensely pleasing to use.

Big m43 system lenses don't bother me because they can always be taken off. I don't see their point, personally, because I find BIF and sports a huge yawn.  (On the other hand, I find large, fake-SLR micro-four-thirds bodies -- especially those made with a lot of plastic -- to be positively repugnant.)

In any case, the purpose of this post is to point out what has apparently occured to no one else. And that is that the diminutive and fragile-looking tripod-foot of the new 150-450 Olympus is bound to wobble on a tripod so badly that it'll be practically unusable. Say what you want about 7.5 stops of stabilization, this obvious weight-saving gesture is going to bite a lot of naive purchasers big time.
