If you want really small, light, and excellent image quality consider manual focus Zeiss Loxia lenses 21mm, 50mm, and 85mm, or Voigtlander 21mm, 35mm, and 65mm. These are excellent lenses for landscape. Fast moving subjects are out but light and excellent lenses. The Voigtlander APO lense have no noticeable CA. Both brands have nice rendering.

If AF is a must Sony 20mm f1.8 is excellent. Sony 55mm f1.8, and Sony 85mm F1.8. If these are too large Tamron makes some F2.8 lenses and there is Samyang as well.

Brian Smith has a web page that provides a nice list of lenses.

Hi Scott,

I've been considering whether we want to pick up a manual focus lens for "fun" and something different, but I'm concerned that most people seem to use the EVF with manual lens, and the A7C is not the right camera to optimize that type of experience.

Thoughts - this is just what I've seen in videos, and read online.

If manual focus is a direction to expand, we may want to pickup the upcoming A7iv which hopefully has a better EVF instead of our A7C.
