You started by saying there's no advantage at all and then went on to explain the primary advantage to me, namely size. Storage, on-site back-up and then off-site back-up. Money and time.

The point was, size of the only advantage, there's no multiple advantages. There's also no multiple disadvantages, (minor) loss of quality is the only one.

I think we are in agreement here. Always a good point to reach.
