I agree. Not sure why.

The shutter speed and my normal hand holding should have been sufficient that it was not the result of camera blur. I can't recall if the subject was moving (it was "take my picture" as she walked away from me) or the AF was a bit off. The lens is sharp enough and the AF generally good enough to expect a more in focussed image. Finally, this lens is good enough that it would be worth the time to calibrate it to the body. Something I haven't done. I get tack sharp images with my DA*300 on my K5iis that has been calibrated and slightly off when mounted on my other bodies that I have not calibrated.
