Hmmm, ok, I prefer RLight's suggestion of keeping the current 6D2 kit and adding an M6II. I have both these cameras and the L zoom. The 6D2 is an excellent camera and not terribly heavy.

280 grams heavier than the RP.  It is even heavier than the weather sealed R5.

I pair mine with the EF 24-70 f4 L which has less range but is lighter and adds macro.

The RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 also adds 0.5X macro vs. 0.7X on your EF lens

The M6II has some excellent lenses, I don't include super zooms BTW, but with adapter handles the EF 70-300 IS II really well and that lens is also compatible with the 6D2. I think the OP also has a 100-400 which the M6II also does well with. The R lenses have incompatibility issues.

What incompatibility?  Every RF lens works on every RF body.

The OP could also look at EF STM lenses to save weight but why? All the cameras and probably lenses we're talking about will yield excellent images and we're talking minor tradeoffs. But why would the OP want to trade camera systems just to use a cheaper lens? It really is all about the glass.
