I realized that I hate changing lenses when I'm traveling. I often with other people, so I don't want them to wait for me all the time. So the 18-135 is usually glued to my camera. The nice thing about it is that 135mm is 200mm full frame, basically it's the telephoto zoom most FF users bring. So if I just go to national parks for hiking, where I'm might see some wild animals or might not, I'm fine with leaving my 70-350 at home, also less weight.

I usually bring a fast prime (Zeiss 24/1.8) for low light situations (indoors, night shots, milky way, etc).

+1 for both lens choices. I really like the 18-135 which I bought as kit lens with my A6600. I just got the Zeiss 24 used for about half the cost of new and I'm delighted with it.
