Re: Do Pentax Users Really Shoot BIF and Other Motion Scenes

I do sometimes shoot BIFs, and I will say that each upgrade has substantially helped in that area.  With film it was pointless to even try, with the K10D it was very frustrating, and the first time I went out with the K-3 and DA* 300, I managed to nail swallows in flight, though the hit rate remained low.  The K-3 is still frustrating because it retains the horrible tendency to rack the focus all the way to the near end if a bird slips out of the autofocus area, which I consider an outright bug.  Haven't tried any of the newer models.  There's clearly lots of improvement available to gain.
