Canon catching Sony in terms of lenses?
1

Ok so I'm a little frustrated with Sony with only the 100 to 400 and 200 600 available for birding etc, but they cost a fortune, and here comes Canon with the 600 and 800 RF lenses at way less than half the price (yes they aren't weather sealed & F11 but they are optically very decent). I know we have the Sigma 100 to 400 but its not sigma dock compatible so no firmware updates etc if there are any issues. Just wondering why Sony are doing VERY little lens wise, whereas Canon have released a slew of RF lenses in the last year... So my cheapest OEM option is the 200 600 from Sony at $2500 here is South Africa when Canon has the RF 600 for $800 here, ok rant over.
