The Nikon Z7 is far superior. You need to add Canon R5, Canon 5DS/5DSR, Nikon D850, Sony A7R II, III, and IV to your list. Yes, the more pixels, the more detail. Dynamic Range is secondary to pixels and lens selection. The 5DSR is an incredible bargain at this time.

I always tell people looking for a landscape camera to consider which lenses they are likely going to want to use and choose the body depending on the lenses. The advent of really good third party lenses that work on all bodies has helped in this regard.

I'd add even more to that list. And I SO agree about lenses.

Eg a Pentax if the OP wanted to do night landscapes. With say a 24mm 1.4.

Or maybe something with as good weatherproofing if that's a concern. Or something that can take pixel shift images if they shoot static images. Or only two slot cameras if they can't afford to lose shots. Or something with IBIS if they want to use adapted manual lenses handheld.

Or maybe they do occasional wildlife, as many landscape shooters do. Then those new Canon 600mm/800mm  lenses might be nice to have in the bag.

In short I agree, and the problem is that without more of a statement of the priorities there are so many cameras that would work it's almost pointless to point to one.
