Canon's Full Frame F1 (Fun Video) - Exposure Meter
3

For those interested in how old cameras worked, Technology Connections has a video on the Canon F1 (1971). The only electronics in it is the light meter. Everything else is mechanical from the shutter, to focus, to the aperture (aperture is set on the lens with a mechanical arm to move the target for setting the shutter speed based on ISO).

He pulls out the pentaprism to show how it works and how the light gets to the meter and from the meter to your eye.

The presenter has a great sense of humor (some of it corny and some of it subtle) which I think is why he has almost 1 million subscribers. He talks about all kinds of (mostly electromechanical) technology.
