Tamron 70-200 F2.8 g2 on a fuji?

Hello!

I’ve been looking at the XF50-140, but firstly, i wasn’t 100% happy with the reviews of the bokeh and the images sometimes, but also, its expensive!! My Tamron 100-400 with the adaptor works and autofocuses great on my XT3. So I’ve just spotted a used g2 70-200 Tamron for 200pounds (UK) cheaper than a used 50-140. Plus, I’ll get f/2.8 at 300mm equivalent!

My requirement for a lens of this kind is fast moving things like dogs and mammals in not fantastic light (UK can be dark!) So I’m really missing a fast, fast focusing, sports type lens.

Is the Tamron G2 good? What are peoples thoughts? The reviews i can find seem to rate it highly.
