R3 versus R4 color-wise in RAW...

I tried the R4 for a while and while I loved the improved ergonomics, I didn’t love the huge files. 24mps is too small, but 62 is too much. The R3 is sort of the sweet spot for me and I’m wondering if there are really any color improvements in RAW shooting with the R4. Please don’t say all RAW is the same — it is surely not — and while all photos might be able to achieve the same look with lots of post work, the goal is to not have too much added work to get a desired result, which is heavily subjective, I admit. EG, I probably did less work on my Nikon files when I had them…Sonys sometimes had color issues that were really challenging to sort out in post, but that might be because I needed a Color Checker and didn’t use one. I'd appreciate any insight - thanks!
