If your gear list is correct you already have an RP, and you're using EF lenses with an adapter. I definitely, definitely would not buy an R in your situation - either go for the R6 which is a *much* better camera, or if you feel you need the RF 24-105L (which I would fully understand) then get it to use with your RP until such a time as you can buy an R6. In the long run the only good solution is to have both, so it's just a question of which to do first.
Yes, that's true. I am with RP and adapted lenses. Well, ok. Probably that reasonable advice.
There are some minor advantages with the R, but it's not a huge leap from the Rp in most areas.
What advantages are you hoping to gain by an upgrade?
Mostly 2 things:
1) Better build quality
2) 1/8000 shutter where EFCS can be switched off on higher shutter speed, so 1.2 lenses can be used without ND... well... yes, ND solves this but it's some hassle
Other than that I am happy with RP -- I don't need second card slot, I think autofocus and eye af is very good with RP and mine EF lenses works fantastically with it
Yeah, either camera will give that to you. IBIS could be very nice with your lenses, but you are losing resolution. 20MP is plenty for me, but if you like to crop it may not be for you.
