I agree. In fact, based on the specs I posted earlier in the thread, the Z50 is in theory ahead of the Z6. Especially when at f3.5 with the kit lens at the wide end, as opposed to f4 with the Z6 kit lens.

My experience is they both do great in low light focusing. Of course, a faster lens will always help.... regardless.
