Why I’m switching to Nikon Z from Sony and not Canon RF

I’ve thought about this long and hard but I think Nikon Z is perfectly poised for the future given the physical capabilities of the Z mount. Sony is limited in creating a more competent IBIS system because the mount is too small to accommodate optimal sensor movement. Unless Sony changes mounts they’re only solution will be software stabilization like we saw with the A7S3. Canon does not seem to be putting much effort in their 1.8 primes, look at the RF 35 and 85 mm F2 lenses, their quality is far inferior to the Z counterparts especially with the noisy AF motors. It really seems that the nikon Z lenses will be a better long-term investment especially for a prosumer who sticks to mid level primes. Nikon’s financials are a bit worrisome but I’m going to take my gamble and hope they weather the storm.
