Tips for AF / tracking on A7III for faster moving subjects.

Hi all,

I'm video and stills shooter, been using Sony A7SII and A7III for a while now (also a Canon DSLR) and am eyeing up the A7SIII as a future purchase.

Hoping to pick up more knowledge here... and maybe occasionally impart some in return !

Being more movie orientated I usually manual focus but am getting in to moving object stills shooting more and more. I now get to the coast a lot more and want to get better on moving objects - watersports such as Jet Skis, Kite Surf etc and also cycle and motorbike racing as there are some tracks locally.

Not sure I have found the best settings for the A7III on the faster moving subjects. Trying to get the balance right by not firing off too many shots - using Lo to Mid cont shooting, but any tips on things such as which Lock On AF mode etc as I'm getting varied results.

Thanks
