Sunrise in Terlingua, Texas
3

I took this last September around 5:30 in the morning.. Not much stirs in Terlingua in the early hours.. it is called a ghost town but there are a good many people living there. Many who just want to get away from the cities. The old town has become somewhat of an artist colony in addition to having more than a few unique characters in residence.

The sunrises and sunsets in Terlingua are legendary. I had walked outside of my motel room to put something in the car and this is what I saw.. the only sounds were from early rising birds, no human activity. The colors and light before made me go back inside to get my camera.

For those not familiar with Terlingua, here is an informational link.
