I've have had a A7RII for the past 5 years and used the 35/2.8 quite a bit until I dropped the lens and broke it about 2 years ago!

It is a nice lightweight combination - this it's greatest strength - for example I could put it under my ski jacket when skiing quite comfortably.  I especially liked the built in lens hood.  Image quality is good with vignetting probably it's greatest weakness.  At 2.8 it is also quite slow.

I don't think it is good for street photography - especially action street.  The speed of boot up/ data writing/ focus system means you miss quite a lot of photos.  Also even though it is compact for a full frame people still see you coming at them with this combination.

For landscape photography it is excellent.
