Show Us Some Street Art

Welcome to the Inaugural Edition of ‘Show Us Some Street Art’.

This is the place to share your beautiful photographs of inspiring Street Art by talented artists. Street Art has become an important and engaging part of life in many of our cities and your photos will help document the fascinating and often transient beauty they bring to our worlds.

We want your best photographs so we can give you our best thumbs. At the end of each thread we will select a – WINNER – to be featured in the following thread.

Some rules

  • Include the location and (if known) the name of the artist
  • One photograph per post
  • Share the love - not too many posts per edition of Show Us Some Street Art
  • Post each photograph as a reply to the original post - this makes it much easier to follow and comment
  • Give your post a title - this will help too
  • As the thread approaches the 150 post limit, it will be locked with a post like "THREAD NOW CLOSED TO PHOTOGRAPHS". A new thread will then be started. As each new thread starts, one photograph from the previous thread will be selected to feature in the first post of the new one. This will (usually) be the photo that gets the most likes.
  • By posting in the thread you give permission for your photograph to be featured on the front page of the next edition (if selected).
  • There’s plenty of politically-motivated street art out there, but please be careful and avoid political statements or anything in bad taste. Remember DPR rules #6: Be civil – and #8: Stay ‘on topic’.

Last thread's winner (will be displayed like this)

Artist: Sam King Art. Location: Leonard Street, Deepdene Victoria Australia
