I have a Canon 7D and a 70-200 f/4 IS L, and lately (well, at least since around the start of the pandemic) I've been noticing that I can't shoot anything sharp with it for the life of me. But it seems like more than just being out of focus. In fact, images look more like something from a Holga or one of those toy cameras with deliberate irregularities.

This image is a good example of the issue.

Anyone seen anything similar, and have an idea as to the cause?

My 70-200 f/4 IS L suddenly developed a similar problem.  I could not get a sharp image even when focusing manually.  I sent it to Canon USA for repair and they fixed it for $200 (in 2013).
