Like others have already set (and supported with images): It is a good lens. While I own it, I do use the Samyang 12mm more often together with the 1655/2.8. The Samyang is faster, smaller, less expensive and sharper. 12mm is mostly enough when traveling with the 1655. Only if I know that I will need ultra wide I take only the 1018 and nothing else.

I have some age-related eyesight problems, so a manual focus lens would not be my first choice. Also, when I owned a Fuji XPro-2, I really enjoyed the 10-24 and I'm looking for an equivalent that would be usable in tight spaces like bazaars and markets. I see carrying this lens around, together with a fast prime like the Sigma 30 f/1.4.

Fair point, though DoF at this focal length requires often only to set the lens to HFL and done.
