A long time ago (2014 and 2015 I was using both Sony full frame cameras and Fuji APC cameras. I realized it was too expensive to maintain both and also liked the full frame look better. I currently have the Sony A7riii which is 42 megapixels and the A7iii. I love the A7rii for landscape photography. I also have the 24-105 you mention, though I have quite a number of other lenses and I do use that a lot for landscapes. I also use the Tamron 17-28mm f2.8 ( sold the Sony 16-35 f4). I like the Tamron 70-180 f2.8 also. For astro photography which I am new at I recently tried the fairly new Sony 20mm f1.8 which was great. From what I have read the tamron 17-28mm f2.8 also does well for astrophotography. A neat feature of the Sony a7riii, and a7riv is something called "bright monitoring" which can be assigned to a custom button. Read up on it. It allows for composing in the dark.

Here's a photo that I just recently took.
