Mixing strobes of different flash duration

Hello all,

I currently only own a couple of speedlites but am looking to buy a strobe in the near future.

I came across this tutorial from B&H on splash photography. They use one gelled strobe to colour the background and two strobes on the side as the key light.

My current speedlites have a flash duration of 1/550 (shortest) however one strobe I was looking at getting (Godox QT400IIM 220V) has a flash duration between 1/416 and 1/35086.

My question:
If I gelled my speedlite to colour the background and used the Godox strobe as the key light then how would the mismatch of flash duration affect the freezing of action? For example one firing at 1/550 and the other at 1/20000 (or shorter).

Thanks
