prefer 4:3 aspect and larger than 12 inch..

They work very well for archives of family photographs.

I tend to have my computer screen (which is in a corner of the dining room) with a slideshow of old shots as a screen saver. This generates lots of conversations about family members (from 'Who on earth is that!" to "Do you remember...?")

I'm looking a dedicated device for my father, who lives alone and does not have a PC. But I'm looking for something at about 8-10" with reasonable resolution.
