Aperture on AUTO but within limits?

Let me explain the scenario I currently stumbled upon.

A7III + Samyang AF 18mm F2.8

Camera is on a gimbal mounted on a car (I can not control it). The car goes from bright daylight into a dark tunnel and back to daylight.

So the settings should be:

ISO - AUTO

Shutter - 1/50 (for 24fps)

Aperture... and here's the problem. I would like to set it to AUTO, for daylight it doesn't matter if it goes to F11 - F16. But in the tunnel it'll open up to F2.8 and DoF will become way too shallow.

Setting it manually to F5.6 - overexposure in daylight. F16 - underexposure and noise in the tunnel. Middleground doesn't give good enough results either.

And no, F5.6 lens is not an option because 18mm F5.6 FE lens with autofocus that is compact and light doesn't exist, unfortunately.

I'm rather new to Sony and maybe there is some setting in A7III to leave Aperture on AUTO but within limits? Say F5.6 - F16.

Or maybe something like that is in A7SIII?
